Again a private server patch, this time to let you host your own
Battlefield 1942 server on the internet without the need for
having valid CD keys. There was a keygen released by us earlier
which initially worked, but it seems the EA authentication servers
were not yet started.
Instructions
~~~~~~~~~~~~
Extract BF1942.exe, BF1942.org and
MultiplayerServers\GameSpyHost.dll into
your Battlefield 1942 installation directory. You can now logon
to any hacked server without getting the 'server disconnected'
message. The GameSpyHost.dll will make you able to host
games for others without CD Key.
To patch the dedicated server, extract only
MultiplayerServers\GameSpyHost.dll to its installation dir
overwriting the existing one.
Note: Make sure you are using an uniquely generated key using
the Battlefield 1942 keygen (included for your convenience).
